How to create polls and surveys
It is really easy to create polls and surveys with WhatsApp, even if it is your very first time doing it, and as easy as it is to create them, just as easy it is to monitor them and see your results!

Go to Tochat.be
The first thing you need to do is to go to https://tochat.be/, which is the website where you can make your polls and surveys with the help of WhatsApp features.
When you go to Tochat.be to be able to make your polls, you first have to create an account, or if you already have one, you need to login. This allows you to keep track of your current and previous polls and surveys, see the results and the stats.
When you have signed in, you will see a couple of different options at the top of your screen. One of them says “polls”, which is the one you want to choose.

Start creating your poll or survey
As soon as you press on “Polls” and afterwords press “create your own poll now”, you will have access to the tool, that allows you to create your poll or survey. As a matter of fact, you can do even more than just Polls and Surveys! 😮
As you see on the picture above, you can do more that just create polls and surveys. You can also create a quiz, if you want to try something different, be more creative or maybe try to engage your users in a different way, to try and get more people to participate.
There are a couple different and cool options, and to choose between them, simply just press on the one you want. Currently the poll option is chosen, but to change to survey, you just have to press survey. ❓

Start adding questions to your poll
Not you have chosen the form of data collection method you want, you can start adding the questions. Lets say you chose a poll, you can now add questions and following opinions.
In this example we want to find out, what app people are using, to communicate with their friends and family, and chose the following as options
- Facebook Messenger
- Snapchat
A little advise: If you are only including 4 options, there might be some options, that are relevant for the users, but you didn’t inculde. Maybe these options are not relevant to you, but nevertheless, you should acknowledge the fact, that they are still an option. An easy way to do this is to add an option called “others” or “i use something else”. This way, you got that covered too.
When you are happy with your questions and options, you can go ahead and press “next step” where you can decide the duration of the poll and add your Company name and URL. You can also choose to hide your results from other users when they participate and add your logo to the survey, which makes for a way better design and user experience!
However, these two are premium features, which can only be used by premium members on Tochat.be. The premium features however are VERY affordable with only $20 a year, and a long range of options, such as creating widgets and payment links.

Manage your polls and surveys
When you finish they poll by pressing “create now” you will be directed to this page, where you can chose different options to share your poll.
You can do a couple different things here:
- Share it to WhatsApp
- Copy the link to the poll
- Go back to poll
If you chose the first option, you can send the poll directly to people on WhatsApp. If you choose the second option, you can send the link to people or include it in posts on social media or on your website.
If you choose the last option, you will be directed back to your poll, where you can se the poll you just made!
See all your polls
If you want to make multiple polls and surveys, there is a easy way to manage them all, because they can all be found on the same page, so you dont have to find them in different places.
In the toolbar at the top of the page, there is a option called “my polls” when you enter to make a new poll. In here, you will find all the polls, that are currently going on and all the polls, that you previously made.
This a nice and easy way to get an overview of your polls, mange them, and check how they are doing so far!
