Link a Stripe Account

  • Go to the “Payments” section in the Chatwith platform.
  • Select the option to link your Stripe account (refer to a linked video for detailed instructions).
  • Ensure your Stripe account is connected to enable payment processing.

Create a Checkout with Dynamic Pricing

  • Navigate to the checkout creation section.
  • Set up a checkout with dynamic pricing (not fixed).
  • Configure the payment percentage (e.g., 100% for full payment or 20% for order confirmation).
  • Add required user fields (e.g., name, phone number).
  • Include a currency, description, and thank-you message.
  • Save and activate the checkout with Stripe.

Build the Calculator Widget

  • Go to the “Widgets” section and create a new widget.
  • Select the “Calculator” type and go to the form settings.
  • Add basic fields:
    • Name and phone number for user information.
    • A dropdown menu with price options (e.g., €10, €20, €50, €100) labeled as desired (e.g., “Basic,” “Pro,” “Top”).
  • Enable the “Show Price” option to display prices clearly.
  • Add a multiplier option to allow users to input custom amounts (e.g., €20 × 3 = €60).
  • Optionally, include add-ons (e.g., €100 for a t-shirt) or fixed fees (e.g., €20 donation fee) using checkboxes or help text with prices.
  • Ensure all elements contribute to the total amount displayed in the widget.

Link the Widget to the Checkout

  • In the widget settings, select the “Send to Payment” option.
  • Choose the checkout created in Step 2 (e.g., “Donation for Netwing”).
  • Add a confirmation button (e.g., “Confirm Donation”).
  • Enable the option to display the total amount in the widget for transparency.

Test and Save the Widget

  • Test the widget to ensure calculations (e.g., €50 × 4 = €200) and add-ons (e.g., €20 fee) work correctly.
  • Save the widget configuration.

Integrate with CRM for Lead Management

  • Monitor submissions in the CRM, where user data (name, phone number, donation amount) is stored.
  • Check for “pending payment” labels to identify incomplete transactions.
  • Use the provided checkout link to send payment reminders to users (e.g., “Please confirm your payment here”).

Embed the Widget on Your Website

  • Copy the widget embed code and add it to your website.
  • Ensure the widget is user-friendly and visually appealing (e.g., using buttons for dropdowns).

Track and Follow Up

  • Use the CRM to track donor or customer activity and payment statuses.
  • Recover pending payments by sending personalized messages with the checkout link.
