In this guide there are 3 parts.

  1. Create your Private App Key at Hubspot (4 steps)
  2. Add your API Key in your Tochat.be account and link your fields from your WhatsApp Form to your Hubspot Form. Test and review leads.
  3. Hidden fields and custom fields.

1. Create your Private App Key at Hubspot (4 steps)

Step 1. Create your Private App

Step 2. Add a name. Can be anything. Is just for you to understand what is this API for.

Step 3. Define the scope. Search for “contacts” and then mark these 4 checks

4. You are done. You have your API Key.

2. Add your API Key in your Tochat.be account

Step 1. Now, you need to add the API key in your Integrations panel

Once you add the API KEY we will validate the code and confirm it is good to use. The Deal Stage and Pipeline are optional.

Step 2. Map your WhatsApp Form Fields to Fields in Hubspot Contacts.

You can map any field to any field on your HubSpot account. By default we have

  • name
  • surname
  • email
  • phone
  • website

But you can map any field from your WhatsApp Form to any field in your HubSpot. You can ask for “age” or “budget” or “zip code” or any other field that you want to send to HubSpot.

You need to create a WhatsApp Form and map the field at HubSpot.

Step 3. Save and test.

If you send a lead using the integration with HubSpot, you will see in the Leads panel 3 status for the HubSpot integration.

  • White Label = the lead is being send to HubSpot.
  • Green Label = the lead is properly send and save in HubSpot.
  • Red Label = the lead is not send to Husbpot. You will see the error if you rollover in the label.

3. Hidden fields and custom fields

To get custom fields label from HubSpot me made this video for you to go step by step. It is very easy. Once you have the “intenal name” of the field, you can use it to map your fields from the WhatsApp Form to your fields in HubSpot.

From your WhatsApp Form you can send hidden fields to HubSpot like:

  • {URL} – if you want the referer URL
  • {GCLID} – if you want the google click iD
  • {UTM} – if you want the UTM
  • {UTM_SOURCE} – if you want this UTM
  • {UTM_MEDIUM} – if you want this UTM
  • {UTM_CAMPAIGN} – if you want this UTM
  • {COUNTRY} – if you want the country code
  • And you can send any other fix data as a hidden field
