If you have a business, have made a WhatsApp widget for yourself, with additional WhatsApp agents, then you might also be in need of preparing schedules for these agents, so everyone knows when they can get in touch with these agents.

This is a great tool, because obviously, you can’t be online every single hours of the day, and if you have employees or team members controlling your agents, they need their time off from work.

But how do you add timetables to your agent, and what does it look like? These questions we will answer for you here! 👏

What is a timetable?

A timetable is basically a list of the days and hour intervals, that your agent will be available to reach. You can look at it a bit like opening hours for a store. ⏱

You can add a time interval for each day of the week, so your customers know when your agents will be available to get in touch with.

If you want to send automated away messages, when your agent is not available, then we explain how you do that here. 👈

How you create a schedule for your agents

  1. Go to Tochat.be 🌐
  2. Log in to your account 🔓
  3. Go to widgets ✅
  4. Choose the agent you wish to add it to 👔
  5. Press “enable Timetable” ⏱

Now you can start adding the correct hours and days, that your agent will be available in your widget. Every day of the week has already been added in the correct order, so you just need to add the times and the correct timezone.

Here is how you get to this, step by step. 👇

Go to Tochat.be 🌐
Log in to your account 🔓
Go to widgets ✅
Choose the agent you want to add it too 👔
Activate the timetable
Add the times and timezones
Press “show timetable” 👀

When you press “show timetable”, you will be able to see the opening hours you just added to your agent!

Your agent schedule!

Now everyone can see the hours and intervals, that your agent will be active!
